Community Impact
The purpose of the Community Impact Ministry is to equip and train the congregation of the church to have an impact on our local communities for the glory of God. Our motto is “We don’t want to be the best church in our community, but the best church for our community.” We seek to work first for the communities of Haddam, and East Haddam as a prototype so that we can also expand to help those who live in the 30+ towns who call Valley Bible Church their home church. We believe that we are called to “do good works to build good will as a platform on which to share the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.”

Global Outreach
The purpose of the Global Outreach Ministry is to equip and provide opportunities for bringing the good news of the Gospel of Jesus to the ends of the earth. We believe that when Jesus calls all his children home, there will be people from every language, tribe, nation and tongue.
We seek to bring the gospel internationally by supporting financially and with prayer and correspondence those whom the Lord has called to vocationally live and serve in other countries.
We are involved with the EFCA “Reach Global” ministries as well as supporting missionaries with other agencies. Currently, Valley Bible Church designates 15% of all general fund giving to Global Outreach ministries and support.
The Global Outreach Ministry equips and assists people from Valley Bible Church as they travel and minister abroad. Missons projects include building, teaching and witnessing and include trips ranging from a week to a couple of months. We have been involved extensively with the Word of Life ministry in El Salvador.
