
Discipleship Pathway
Our Discipleship Pathway is designed to theologically, relationally and missionally equip the saints. This is for those who are both new and seasoned within the Christian faith. Join us and take greater steps towards strengthening your pilgrimage in following Jesus.
The Discipleship Pathways courses comprise pivotal topics ranging from the practical theological principles and doctrines, in depth Scriptural study, Christian living formation, practices and disciplines, and Christian service development.
Each course below has corresponding requirements and responsibilities to put what the disciples learns in practice.
Our 9 week course times are twice a year, from 8:15a to 9:15a. Childcare is provided only if requested. Snacks and coffee will always be prepared and ready for you.
Foundations
The Foundations course gathers for nine consecutive weeks. We ask that each participating member commit to making each class a priority. This will greatly help ones discipleship, the community and class.

Salvation
The Church

Prerequisites:
None
Doctrine
The Doctrine course is broken into two six week sections We ask that each participating member commit to making each class a priority. This will greatly help ones discipleship, the community and class.
Topics include:
Part one
Scripture
God
Holiness
Sovereignty
Omnipotence
Creation
Part two
Image
Sin
Justification
Sanctification
Perseverance and Glorification
Eternity

Prerequisites:
Must be baptized.
Formation
The Formation course gathers for nine consecutive weeks. We ask that each participating member commit to making each class a priority. This will greatly help ones discipleship, the community and class.

Prerequisites:
Must be a member, or in the process of becoming a member
Must be baptized
Must be giving financially to the work of the Lord
Must be serving in some capacity
Must have attended Doctrine
Must regularly attend our worship gatherings
Leadership
The Leadership course covers topics including:
Why do you feel called to lead?
Achievement + Gospel
Limits + Balance
Character + Warfare
Servants + Candor
Identity + Restoration
Longevity + Presence
Prayer
Space is limited for each class and by invite only.
Prerequisites:
Must be a member
Must be baptized
Must be giving financially to the work of the Lord
Must be serving in leadership capacity
Must have attended Doctrine & Formation
Must regularly attend our worship gatherings
Must take Biblical literacy test
Must be in a VBC Life Group
