Valley Kids!
Purpose
The purpose of our Children’s Ministry at Valley Bible is to come alongside families, to encourage, support and nurture children in the disciples of Christ from an early age. Our goal is for every child to know who God is and what He has done for them.
Children’s Programs
Each Sunday morning, children ages PreSchool - 5th grade gather for a time of worship, teaching, sharing, learning, and praying together. Children 0 - 3 are cared for in a fully equipped environment with trained and caring volunteers. The rhythm of the day is uniquely catered toward each age group. All children meet on the lower level.
NURSERY is geared towards children newborn up to age 3 and is offered during our 9:30am Sunday gathering. Drop off and pick up in the Nursery room.
PRESCHOOL is geared towards children age 3 - age 5 and is offered during our 9:30am Sunday gathering. Drop off and pick up in the Preschool room.
VALLEY KIDS is offered during our 9:30am Sunday gathering for children age 5 – grade 5. Drop off in base camp and pick up in the kindergarten to 2nd grade and 3rd to 5th grade classrooms.
Check-in opens at 9:15am
Safety
We ensure every child’s safety and security under our care through multiple security systems. All of our volunteers are cleared through background checks and given classroom safety training. Additionally, we have an easy check-in platform that you sign into each time you attend church. All parents/guardians are given a security sticker when checking their children into their classroom and must present it upon picking up their child. No child will ever be released without the parent/guardian presenting the security sticker.
Interested in Volunteering?
Our volunteers are trained and equipped to share the love of Jesus and embody God’s delight in every child. They act as shepherds and mentors for our kids, desiring to see each child grow in their love for Christ. Cry Room
During our gatherings, we have a cry room available in the back corner of the auditorium. In this room, parents are able to view the service while younger children have the opportunity to get their wiggles out. The room has a small amount of age-appropriate toys and a changing table.
