This summer, kids are invited on an unforgettable exploration of who God is and all the wonders He has made. Through music, hands-on activities, teaching, and adventure, children will discover that our God is bigger, greater, and more awe-inspiring than they could ever imagine.

WHAT TO EXPECT

We know handing your child off for a week can come with questions — and we want you to feel completely at ease. Here's a look at what a typical VBS day looks like for your child.

  • 🚗 Drop-Off & Check-In

    Check-in opens at 8:45 AM each morning. Our friendly volunteer team will greet you at the door, check your child in, and get them connected with their crew. Pick-up is at 12:00 PM. All children must be signed out by a parent or approved guardian.

  • 👫 Groups

    Children are grouped by grade so they can connect with kids their own age. Each crew is led by a trained adult volunteer who stays with them throughout the day. Kids will rotate together through all the activities as a group, so no one ever feels lost or alone.

  • 🎵 Music

    Every day kicks off with high-energy worship music! Kids will learn theme songs tied to the "God of Wonders" message — music that's fun, memorable, and full of truth.

  • 📖 Bible Teaching

    Each day features an age-appropriate Bible lesson centered on the wonders of God. Children gather together for teaching moments designed to spark wonder, ask big questions, and point hearts toward Jesus.

  • Crafts & Games 🎨

    Kids get hands-on with themed crafts each day — a great way to reinforce the day's lesson! Active games and outdoor activities are woven into every day. All activities are designed to be inclusive and fun for all ability levels.

  • Snacks 🍎

    Snacks are provided each day at no cost. If your child has any food allergies or dietary needs, please note them during registration and we'll do our best to accommodate.

  • Trained Staff ❤️

    Every volunteer at VBS has been trained and background checked. The safety of your child is our top priority. If you have any questions or special considerations, please don't hesitate to reach out before the week begins.

Ways TO serve

Make the Wonder Happen — Volunteer at VBS!
⚠️ Volunteer registration deadline: Saturday, June 7

Volunteers serve Monday, June 29 through Friday, July 3 from approximately 8:30 AM – 12:15 PM each day. Training and orientation will be held before the week begins — details will be shared after you sign up. All volunteers are required to complete a background check prior to serving.

  • 👫 Age & Grade Group Leaders

    The heart of VBS. Serve as a leader for a specific grade group, staying with your crew throughout the day as they move between activities. You'll be the consistent, caring adult presence that makes the week feel safe and fun for every child. Best for: Adults who love building relationships with kids

  • 🎵 Music

    Help lead kids through high-energy daily worship. Whether you're musically gifted or just enthusiastic and willing, this role brings the energy that sets the tone for the whole day. Best for: Musicians, worship leaders, or enthusiastic singers

  • 🎨 Crafts

    Lead themed craft activities that bring each day's Bible lesson to life. You'll guide small groups through hands-on projects — expect glue, glitter, and joy. Best for: Creative adults and students who enjoy working with their hands

  • 🏃 Recreation

    Keep kids active and engaged with outdoor games and physical activities. High energy, big laughs, and a great way to serve. Best for: Active adults or students who love sports and games

  • 📖 Teaching

    Assist with the daily Bible teaching sessions — helping manage the room, support the speaker, and bring lessons to life through skits or interactive moments. Best for: Those with a teaching gift or a passion for God's Word

  • 👋 Greeting

    Be the first face families see every morning. Welcome children and parents warmly, help with check-in, and make sure every child feels seen and expected from day one. Best for: Friendly, organized adults who love a great first impression

  • 🛡️ Safety

    Help monitor the campus, support crowd flow, and ensure every child is safe and accounted for throughout the day. A behind-the-scenes role with a big impact. Best for: Detail-oriented adults who value a safe, well-run environment

  • 🎓 Student Volunteers

    Students who have completed 6th through 12th grade (as of June 2026) are warmly invited to serve alongside adult leaders. A great way to step into leadership and invest in the next generation. Best for: Students ready to give back and grow in their faith

  • June 22–28 — Room Preparation, Thematic Decorating & Equipment Setup (help as you're available)

  • Wednesday, June 24 | 5:30–6:30 PM — Mandatory Volunteer Training & VBS Overview

  • Wednesday, June 24 | 6:30–7:30 PM — VBS Prayer Meeting (all volunteers welcome)

  • Sunday, June 28 | 12:00–3:00 PM — Final Facilities & Thematic Decorating Prep

  • Monday–Friday, June 29–July 3 | 8:30 AM–12:15 PM — VBS Week!

Final date confirmation will be sent to all registered volunteers.
